UM Excels in U.S. News's 'Programs to Look For'

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland posted considerable gains in the rankings of its business and engineering programs in the annual undergraduate rankings published by U.S. News & World Report and under the category of Programs to Look For, UM appeared in four rankings --First Year Experience, Undergraduate Research/Creative Projects, Learning Communities, and Service Learning. The biggest gainers were business management, from No. 21 to No. 17; management, from No. 18 to No. 14; and finance, from No. 18 to No. 15. Three programs earned Top 10 status: entrepreneurship (9), management information systems (5), and supply chain management and logistics (8).
