    TerpVision 3 Debuts This Weekend

    COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland is pleased to present the third episode of TerpVision. Hosted by Maryland alumna Bonnie Bernstein '92, TerpVision tells the stories of Maryland's faculty, staff and students and the incredible impact they are having in our communities and in our world. In this episode, TerpVision will tell five compelling stories:

    • The pressure is on as four student entrepreneurs competing for $15,000 in start-up funding in Cupid's Cup;
    • Students build a human-powered helicopter, tackling one of engineering's most coveted (and lucrative) prizes;
    • The care for a UMD landmark, Duke's Tree, by a longtime member of the grounds staff;
    • How a UMD architecture professor and student saved a crumbling DC public high school and;
    • Mark Turgeon fills some very large shoes as new UMD men's basketball coach.

    The third episode will be airing on the following schedule in the Washington, DC-Baltimore metropolitan area (if you can't see it live, set your DVR now!):

    • Saturday, September 10 at 2:30 pm on WMAR Channel 2 (ABC) in Baltimore markets
    • Saturday, September 10 at 2:30 pm on WJLA Channel 7 (ABC) in Washington, DC markets
    • Saturday, September 17 at 7:00 pm on WMAR Channel 2 (ABC) in Baltimore markets
    • Saturday, September 17 at 11:30 am on WJLA Channel 7 (ABC) in Washington, DC markets
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m. on UMTV in Montgomery and Prince Georges County (check local listings for channel)
