Prof. Killen Peter Morici - Business professor in the Logistics, Business and Public Policy Department at the Robert H. Smith School of Business
Expertise - economist and a recognized expert on international economic policy, the World Trade Organization, and international commercial agreements.

Credentials - Prior to joining the university, he served as director of the Office of Economics at the U.S. International Trade Commission. Morici is an adjunct senior fellow at the Economic Strategy Institute and National Policy Association. He is the author of 18 books and monographs and has published widely in leading public policy and business journals including the Harvard Business Review and Foreign Policy . He has offered public lectures, conferences and institutes at over 100 institutions including the Columbia School of Journalism, Harvard Business School , Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico, and Oxford University . His views have been featured on CNN, FOX, ABC, CBS, CNBC, NPR, NPB, BBC, Reuters financial networks, and national broadcast networks around the world.

Prof. P.K.Kannan - Robert H. Smith School of Business P.K. Kannan - Associate Professor of Marketing, Director for the Center of Excellence in Service at the Robert H. Smith School of Business
Expertise - marketing, retailing and branding. Dr. Kannan can address this year's back-to-school retail trends, especially for tech purchases and online shopping. His current research focuses on design and pricing digital products and product lines, new product development, marketing and product development on the Internet, e-service and customer relationship management and customer loyalty.

Credientials - Kannan is the director for the Center for Excellence in Service at the Smith School . He has received grants from National Science Foundation (NSF), Mellon Foundation, SAIC, and PricewaterhouseCoopers for his work in this area and research papers have been published in Marketing Science, Management Science, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science , and Communications of the ACM . Dr. Kannan was a panelist in the NSF Workshop on Research Priorities in e-Commerce (1998) and a Fellow of the AMA Consortium on e-Commerce (2001). He won the John Little Award for the Best Paper in Marketing Science, Management Science for year 2007. Dr. Kannan is an Associate Editor for Decision Support Systems and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science , Journal of Service Research, Journal of Business Research , and I nternational Journal of Electronic Commerce . Dr. Kannan has served as the Chair for the American Marketing Association SIG on Marketing Research.
