I have been a registered dietitian (national credential) and a licensed nutritionist and dietitian (state credential) for almost 10 years. I have worked with the college age population for over 6 years both in a counseling and outreach setting. Most of the clients I counsel are for weight management, eating disorders and athletic performance. I work with the University of Maryland Athletic Department optimizing the athletes' performance on the field and in the classroom through proper nutrition. I have counseled many athletes from amateur, Olympic and professional areas in my private practice.
I am on the Student Health Center's Eating Disorders Taskforce, a group of physicians and mental health and dietary professionals who take a team approach to treating eating disorders on campus.
