Expertise Credentials:
Stephanie Ritchie is a librarian at the Alternative Farming Systems Information Center at the National Agricultural Library where she helps people find information about anything "unconventional" in agriculture. She interned on several small organic farms in her home state of Minnesota before following a bad reading habit to library school in Maryland. She thinks she has the coolest job ever because it blends both the farmer and the librarian. She serves on the boards of Future Harvest - Chesapeake Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture and the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) supporting food and farming and the Chesapeake watershed.
