CROCODILE FAJARA, The Gambia- A crocodile comes out for a little lunch.
The crocodile is considered a symbol of fertility in The Gambia. People
feed the crocodiles and pray to the god of fertility, Katchikali, for
children. This practice must be working because the Gambia has one of
the largest birth rates in the world!
