Church of Skulls - Roma (entire altar made of the skulls of 2000 years of monks.)

Sunday flea markets in just about any city. (Not so much for buying, but for looking and people watching.)

Moscow - More modern and up-to-date than expected and an adventure that is manageable.

Tallinn, Estonia (as well as Riga, Latvia and Vilnius, Lithuania ) - Reminds me of Prague before the tourists overcrowded it. Be the first kid on your block to visit the Baltics!!
