Veterans Day 2009 Celebration
The University of Maryland celebrated Veterans Day 2009
with a program that featured Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown,
presentation of a proclamation from Gov. Martin O'Malley
by Edward Chow, Jr. - Secretary of the Maryland
State Detp. of Veterans Affaris,
musical selections by the student group
"Femmes de Chanson" and a wonderful slideshow.
Dr. Linda Clement - Vice President for Student
Affairs hosted and gave opening remarks. For
Reflections on the Veteran Experience
